Avant Global is a relationships-driven private investment firm founded in 1999 to manage assets of a single family. With offices in the USA, Greece and the Philippines, the family office invests directly in operating companies, venture capital, private equity, hedge funds, and other private opportunities, including real estate.
Since its creation, Avant Global has been bringing together the most promising opportunities with those individuals/groups most capable of executing on the vision. Avant Venture Studios
Building a new business is undoubtedly a challenge, even for the more astute entrepreneurs. Creating an inspiring vision, identifying innovative ways to satisfy a ‘need’, assembling the appropriate talent, raising money; there is a lot that can go wrong, especially if you are a first-time entrepreneur.
With more than 26 years of co-founding and growing businesses, we, at Avant Global, have realized that great accomplishments can result from using fact-based analysis, multi-functional experience, and the right resources to help businesses with an exceptional competitive advantage grow. And that is why we have created our own venture studio; a more hands-on support model. Instead of providing resources to startups that have already launched, we decide which companies to build ourselves, and only then commit significant resources to a startup.

Early on in my childhood I realized that relationships with people became incredibly important to me; even if I were not aware of all the why’s at the time, I just knew that they made my life better. As I became older, I never lost that core belief; it developed into a life-long search for the right people in all facets of my life. In both business and my personal life, I have experienced the set- backs and the emotional impact that comes along with misaligned relationships. However, I would not change a thing from those experiences as they helped me crystalize, learn and expand my awareness of what good, healthy and mutually rewarding relationships are and should be.
I believe that healthy and strong relationships in all facets of our life including business usually end up being all the difference in whether you experience great success and prosperity, or not. A core belief and value that I have is that all challenges and good times are equally met with consistency, dependability and investment that is mutual. The high’s and low’s make no difference, because it’s about the journey together on the way to creating value and accomplishments. Demetri Argyropoulos
Founder, Chairman & CEO
Demetri is highly regarded in the global business community for his proven track record in building successful relationships based on mutual value creation. By establishing commonality and rapport, Demetri creates an atmosphere of trust that enables relationships to flourish.
Since founding Avant Global over two decades ago, Demetri and his partners have been involved in generating more than $12.5 billion in value across a range of projects and businesses. He has been a catalyst in successfully investing or co-founding over 100 new companies in various sectors.

Justin Figgins
President & COO
Justin Figgins joined Avant Global in January 2025 and serves as the company’s Chief Operating Officer.
Over a 30-year career, Mr. Figgins has managed businesses across North America, Europe, South America and Africa in multiple and diverse industries (healthcare, ecommerce marketplaces, and business services). In addition, he has originated, negotiated, and executed 30 M&A transactions in 13 countries with a total value of $7.0bn.

Jessica Evans
Director of Operations
Jessica currently serves as Director of Operations at Avant Global. An experienced operations manager, Jessica’s focus at Avant Global is to oversee the day-to-day activities of the company, streamline business processes, and oversee project completion timelines. Jessica is also the firms’ Salesforce Administrator, responsible for the development and management of the company’s CRM system. She also assists in managing the busy calendars of the Avant Global partners and is responsible for the planning and success of special events.

Franc Kuqja
Investment & Operations Associate
Franc Kuqja is an Investment & Operations Associate for Avant Global. In his role, Franc assists in project management, ensuring seamless execution and providing vital support for overseeing crucial initiatives. Additionally, he is actively involved in preparing presentations, reports, and executive briefings, while also leveraging his data analysis skills to interpret information and offer insightful inputs for informed decision-making by the Executive team.

Fanis Christodoulou
Financial Officer, Greece
An agronomist who has worked with food companies in Greece and the Mediterranean region on product development, Christodoulou’s focus at Avant Global is to detect and develop business opportunities worldwide for the company’s consumer products arm. Christodoulou’s vast knowledge of producers, producing methods, and nutrition provide him with a unique foresight into the food sector and its technologies.

Sophia-Maria Iliopoulou
Operations & Administrative Assistant – Client Relations
Sophia is an Operations & Administrative Assistant to the CEO and AG Team, managing CEO’s calendar, meetings, and document preparation for trips and activities. Maintains and updates internal databases with contact details and meeting records., prepares reports, and drafts correspondences. Conducts research and oversees office operations, ensuring efficiency and organization.

Stefania Lyras
Senior Executive Assistant to the CEO – Client Relations
Stefania Lyras is a Senior Executive Assistant to the CEO and Founder of Avant Global. A dedicated professional with experience as an Office Manager, customer service, and translation, she is in charge of scheduling meetings and calls with AG’s important clients and partners mainly in Greece and Europe, providing administrative assistance and organizing corporate Events in Greece.

Faye Flores-Concejero
Senior Manager – Client Relations
Faye joined Avant Global in April 2014 and is a Senior Executive Assistant to the CEO and Founder.
She is mainly in charge of scheduling important meetings and calls with AG’s important clients and partners and providing all-around administrative support.

Amaryllis Litsiou
Executive Assistant – Client Relations
Amaryllis has acquired valuable professional experience throughout her career in versatile business environments. Driven by her communication and interpersonal skills, she takes pride in providing the most effective solutions and assistance. Since joining Avant Global in 2021 as an Executive Assistant, her goals include offering unparalleled support to both the team and CEO.
